Floral Shop Associate

Responsibilities
- Open and close the shop
- Keep displays fresh, beautiful, and seasonally updated
- Answer phones and assist customers with floral orders
- Provide outstanding customer service and help customers choose the perfect flowers, plants, and gifts
- Process and care for fresh flowers and plants
- Assist with floral design, especially during wedding season
- Prepare and package arrangements for pickup and delivery
- Make local flower deliveries if needed, requires clean driving record
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shop environment
- Assist with inventory, restocking, and daily shop tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn our point-of-sale system
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Able to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Positive attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed
- Artistic eye and appreciation for flowers, plants, and design
- Retail or customer service experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and spend most of the day on your feet
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Sense of humor—we’re a family here, and we love to have fun while we work!
Bonus Points
- Previous floral design or flower shop experience
- Experience caring for houseplants or outdoor plants
- Wedding or event experience
