Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced electrician to service and install electrical systems for commercial car wash equipment. This role requires travel up to 2 hours from home base, with occasional overnight stays when needed for larger projects or emergency repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical components of commercial car wash systems
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs efficiently
- Run conduit, wiring, controls, sensors, and panels
- Work independently in the field and communicate updates clearly
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Follow safety procedures and electrical codes at all times
- Provide excellent customer service on-site
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrician
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, diagrams, and troubleshooting methods
- Ability to lift equipment, work outdoors, and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel up to 2 hours from home base
- Ability to stay overnight when needed (company-covered)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with car wash systems or industrial equipment (training available)
- Knowledge of low-voltage controls, sensors, and PLCs
- Strong mechanical aptitude
