Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and certified Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise, materials, and products within our facility. This role is essential to maintaining smooth warehouse operations and ensuring timely handling of goods.
Duties
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials throughout the warehouse or storage facility.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, or pallets with precision and care.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated areas to optimize space utilization.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and ensure proper documentation.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed to support team operations.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a forklift operator is required.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to forklift operation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks as necessary.
