Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform residential painting, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail.
- Oversee and supervise maintenance projects, coordinating with other staff as necessary.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers and other related equipment.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Fabricate components or parts as needed for repairs or improvements.
- Read and interpret schematics to effectively diagnose issues in various systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
Skills
- Proficiency in supervising maintenance staff and managing projects effectively.
- Strong command of the English language for clear communication with team members and clients.
- Experience in residential painting techniques and best practices.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Ability to fabricate parts or components using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including troubleshooting logic controllers.
- Competence in reading schematics and technical drawings for accurate repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with tenants and staff.
