Tex-Con Oil Co. is seeking a motivated and dependable Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of petroleum fueling equipment and related systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to work independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fuel dispensing equipment, including systems manufactured by Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, Bennett, and other major brands.

Troubleshoot and repair Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, including VeriFone, Gilbarco, NCR, and related equipment.

Install, program, test, and commission new petroleum fueling equipment and associated systems.

Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service on fueling systems and petroleum equipment.

Analyze electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues and complete repairs in a safe and efficient manner.

Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.

Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation.

Communicate professionally with customers, explaining technical issues and repair recommendations in a clear and understandable manner.

Follow all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.

Respond to service calls and assist with emergency repairs as needed.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Valid state-issued driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Minimum of 2 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining fuel dispensing equipment.

Experience working with dispenser hydraulics, submerged turbine pump systems, and petroleum fueling equipment.

Current dispenser certifications preferred.

Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Basic computer and mobile device proficiency for service documentation.
Physical Requirements
