American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring at least 18 months of permanent specialty experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Large academic hospital setting on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
-
Potential to float to other units (J1-2, J33) and the ED to care for the same patient population

Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Active OH RN license or compact state license currently in hand

Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS

Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Med/Surg Tele required prior to any travel experience

Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required (travel experience accepted)

Two professional references required for consideration

ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required

Holiday coverage is required for at least every other holiday

Travelers may not work more than 18 consecutive months across all Cleveland Clinic locations, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
