Dispatcher/Customer Service
Rancho Santa Fe Security Systems is a third-generation, family-owned and operated company based in Encinitas, California. Since 1978, we have proudly provided comprehensive security solutions throughout San Diego County, including alarm monitoring, alarm installation, alarm response, patrol services, and guard services.
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Dispatcher in our Monitoring & Dispatch Center.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Be comfortable answering phones and interacting with customers in a professional manner
- Possess strong computer skills and the ability to learn multiple software programs
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Have common knowledge of security systems.
- Be able to oversee multiple officers on the field.
- Be able to multitask multiple task at once.
- Be comfortable troubleshooting over the phone with customers.
- Be detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively as part of a team
- Be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Hold a current Guard Card or ACE Card, or be willing to obtain one within 90 days of employment
- Be available to work swing and graveyard shifts as needed
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Pay: $23.00-25.00 per hour (DOE)
Regular Schedule:
- Option 1: Sat-Sunday 7am-3pm M-W 3pm-11pm = 40h
- Option 2: Sat-Sunday 3pm-11pm Thursday-Friday 3pm-11pm = 32h
Training Schedule
Training will be conducted during daytime hours from 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Please note that the training period typically lasts 6–8 weeks before transitioning to the regular graveyard schedule.
