Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sous Chef / Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, creativity, and consistency, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
- Assist in supervising kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation, presentation, and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
- Oversee food production processes during shifts, ensuring timely delivery of orders while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Support menu planning efforts by contributing ideas for new dishes and seasonal offerings that align with culinary trends and guest preferences.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth shift management, including delegating tasks and monitoring performance.
- Assist with catering events and banquet preparations, ensuring all food service meets the highest quality expectations.
- Lead by example in practicing excellent food handling techniques and fostering a positive team environment focused on hospitality excellence.
Experience
- Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management.
- Prior supervisory experience overseeing kitchen staff or team management roles within the food industry.
- Extensive banquet experience with knowledge of catering operations and large-scale event support.
- Familiarity with dietary department procedures and special dietary accommodations.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, food production processes, and restaurant experience.
- Strong leadership skills complemented by excellent communication abilities to motivate and guide team members effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP protocols, and sanitation practices essential for maintaining compliance.

Pay: $50,009.93 - $70,227.01 per year
