Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain repair procedures, estimates, and recommended services clearly and transparently
- Write detailed service orders, perform auto estimating, and prioritize repairs based on urgency and customer preferences
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and auto body repairs
- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle diagnostics and mechanical knowledge to maximize customer value
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professional rapport with clients throughout the process
- Maintain thorough documentation of all service activities, including vehicle history and repair notes
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or automotive service advisor background with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including transmissions, suspensions, brakes, oil changes, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engines, air brakes, and auto body repairs
- Experience in auto estimating software and service writing is highly preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients
- Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and transparency
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes such as mechanic work or service technician experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling and record keeping
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; relevant certifications in automotive repair or diagnostics are advantageous

Pay: $59,259.60 - $71,366.40 per year
