We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Industrial Service Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment within manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes quickly and accurately.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters to diagnose problems.
- Conduct maintenance on HVAC/R systems, including refrigeration units and air conditioning components, ensuring optimal climate control within facilities.
- Operate various field service tools such as scissor lifts, low voltage testers, and high voltage equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance history and plan future activities.
- Support technical sales efforts by providing expert advice on equipment upgrades or repairs when interacting with customers or clients.
- Follow safety protocols related to high voltage systems, welding (<LOCATION> welding as applicable), and industrial electrician practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to execute precise repairs or installations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about maintenance procedures, troubleshooting steps, and repair timelines.
Experience
- Proven experience working in an industrial manufacturing facility or similar environment with a focus on industrial mechanic or electrician roles.
- Strong background in industrial maintenance including hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including <LOCATION> welding), electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, CMMS software, and precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical issues quickly and develop effective solutions in a field service setting.
- Experience working with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems within manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to industrial equipment operation including high voltage safety procedures.
- Military experience in technical roles is considered a plus due to the discipline and technical skills gained during service.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective interaction with team members, clients, and vendors.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
