Unlike many companies in the industry, we perform mold assessments only. We do not perform mold remediation. That means our inspectors can focus on delivering accurate assessments without sales pressure or conflicts of interest.
We're growing quickly and are looking for an experienced Texas Licensed Mold Assessment Consultant (MAC) who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping people, and wants to build a long-term career with a company that values professionalism, integrity, and quality.
What You'll Do
- Perform residential and commercial mold inspections throughout the Houston area.
- Conduct visual assessments, moisture mapping, humidity measurements, and thermal imaging when appropriate.
- Collect air and surface samples following industry standards.
- Document findings with clear, professional photographs.
- Upload inspection data and photos into our reporting system.
- Explain findings to homeowners in a professional, easy-to-understand manner.
- Work independently while maintaining the highest level of customer service and attention to detail.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who doesn't just meet the licensing requirements, we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being in the field and takes pride in performing high-quality inspections.
Our ideal candidate is:
- Licensed Mold Assessment Consultant (TDLR Required)
- Experienced performing mold inspections independently
- Highly knowledgeable about building moisture issues, mold growth, sampling techniques, and indoor air quality
- Professional, organized, and detail-oriented
- Excellent at communicating with homeowners and answering questions with confidence
- Honest, ethical, and committed to providing unbiased assessments
- Self-motivated and able to manage daily appointments independently
- Comfortable using inspection equipment, moisture meters, hygrometers, thermal cameras, and sampling equipment
- Experienced writing clear and accurate inspection reports
Qualifications
- Active Texas Mold Assessment Consultant (MAC) License (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of professional mold inspection experience (more experience preferred)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong computer and smartphone skills
- Ability to lift equipment, access attics, crawlspaces, and other inspection areas when necessary
