JOB SUMMARY:
Under direction of the General Manager, an Account Representative will manage customer accounts/orders by communicating effectively with customers and internal personnel.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Receive customer orders.
- Review order; pricing, revision level, and due date.
- Acknowledge order to customer if required.
- Send a copy of order to accounting department.
- Enter the order into system and generate work orders.
- Review with purchasing to ensure parts are on hand.
- Transfer work orders to the Production Manager for production.
- Generate packing slips for the customer
- Follow up/work with Production Manager to ensure customer due dates are met.
- Expedite orders as needed.
- Receive and address customer complaints.
- Insure ISO policies & procedures are met.
- Bring problems/concerns to Staff meetings.
- Other duties may be assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Working with Account Rep. policies and procedures.
- 2-5 years of Account Rep/Inside Sales/Customer Service experience preferred
- Bachelor Degree, in a business related area or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Self-starter and the ability to work independently within a team environment.
- Positive attitude.
- Working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Organizational skills for efficient office control are mandatory.
- Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
- Possess solid decision making skills.
- Excellent communication skills - verbally and written.
