Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Prior experience working in K-8 school settings preferred
- Strong ability to conduct evaluations, interpret results, and develop actionable interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff
- Familiarity with special education processes, RTI, and behavioral assessment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services to K-8 students
- Conduct assessments, observations, and consultations to identify students’ cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to ensure students receive appropriate services
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to compliance guidelines
