Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Ensure proper food handling and safety practices are followed at all times
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely meal preparation and service
- Handle food inventory, including receiving, storing, and rotating supplies
- Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional food service
- Utilize knife skills for food preparation, ensuring precision and efficiency
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, with a focus on fine dining or restaurant settings
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Familiarity with catering services and meal preparation for large groups is beneficial
- Culinary experience with an emphasis on menu planning and execution is highly valued
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
