Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Franchisee Training & Menu Director to join our team! In this role, you will play a dual role, ensuring the success of both our franchisees and our menu offerings.
Franchisee Training:
- Lead Point of Contact: You will be the primary resource for all franchisee training needs, both at headquarters and on-site at their locations.
- Training & Support: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to equip franchisees with the knowledge and skills to operate their businesses effectively.
- Ongoing Support: Be readily available to answer questions, address concerns, and provide ongoing support to franchisees throughout their journey.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits (quarterly) to ensure franchise locations are adhering to strict brand standards, including menu language as outlined in the franchise agreement.
Menu Development:
- Seasonal Innovation: Lead the creation of exciting and authentic English Afternoon Tea menus that change quarterly.
- Culinary Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of English cuisine, particularly Afternoon Tea offerings.
- Menu Crafting: Develop menus that are not only delicious but also visually appealing and descriptive, emphasizing the authentic English experience.
- Recipe Creation & Training: Create detailed recipe guides for each menu item, ensuring successful execution by franchisees with varying levels of experience.
- Tea Pairing: Recommend complementary teas to best suit each seasonal menu.
- Sourcing & Procurement: Research and develop relationships with reliable UK distributors to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality ingredients.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience and passion for English cuisine, particularly Afternoon Tea.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and support franchisees.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding brand standards.
- In-depth knowledge of tea varieties and their pairings with food, particularly foods associated with Afternoon Tea.
- Experience in menu development and recipe creation.
- Ability to source and build relationships with international food suppliers (UK).
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of $45,000 with a potential bonus of $15,000 for a total of $60,000.
