Farmersville Health & Rehab is hiring a PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support resident therapy care. You will conduct swallow evaluations and lead speech language therapy sessions for residents on our rehab unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform swallow function assessments and resident speech evaluations.
- Execute individualized treatment plans for cognitive and communication needs.
- Document treatment progress and clinical outcomes in patient records.
- Coordinate care plans directly with floor nurses and attending physicians.
- Train floor staff on individual resident swallowing precautions and diet levels.
Compensation, Schedule & Benefits
- Pay Rate: Starting at $42–$52/hr, scaling upward with experience
- Schedule: PRN (Flexible hours based on facility census)

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
- Must pass a standard criminal background check
- Must pass a drug screening
- Reliable transportation for consistent attendance
