General Responsibilities & Duties:
Experienced welder/fabricator with strong MIG and TIG welding skills in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum fabrication. Able to read blueprints, perform precision fit-up, fabricate custom parts, and operate shop equipment safely and efficiently. Skilled in structural fabrication, grinding, cutting, assembly, and quality inspection while maintaining high production and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metals and thicknesses
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
- Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components to specifications
- Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, saws, presses, and cutting tools
- Measure, cut, tack, and finish materials accurately
- Inspect welds for quality, strength, and appearance
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
- Assist with shop production and installation projects as needed
Skills & Qualifications
- MIG and TIG welding experience
- Blueprint and tape measure proficiency
- Strong fabrication and layout skills
- Knowledge of metal types and welding processes
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Experience with grinding, fitting, and finishing
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- AWS certification preferred but not requir
