Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of residential homes.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens to ensure freshness and order.
- Maintain floor care by applying appropriate cleaning techniques for carpets, hardwood, tile, or other surfaces to keep floors pristine.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients, addressing their specific needs, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Use janitorial and custodial techniques to uphold sanitation standards throughout the home, including kitchen and bathroom disinfecting.
- Manage household chores efficiently by organizing spaces and ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed thoroughly and promptly.
- Assist with light cooking or meal prep if required, demonstrating versatility in supporting clients’ household needs.
Requirements
- Prior experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles is highly preferred; hotel housekeeping experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, sanitation procedures, and floor care techniques to ensure safe and effective cleaning practices.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, lifting moderate loads, and working efficiently in various home environments.
- Experience with carpet cleaning or specialized floor care equipment is advantageous.
- Basic laundry skills including washing, folding, and stain removal are desirable.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on attention to detail and maintaining high cleanliness standards.
