Job Description
Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality CT and diagnostic X-ray examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional imaging standards. This position primarily supports adult acute care, outpatient, emergency department, and ICU patients during weekend overnight shifts.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Administer contrast media following established protocols.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and adhere to infection prevention and PPE guidelines.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images using GE CT equipment and PACS.
- Perform image post-processing, including multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), 3D rendering, and ROI measurements when required.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely patient care.
- Document procedures accurately using Epic EMR.
- Maintain imaging equipment and report any operational concerns promptly.
Required Qualifications
· Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- Current ARRT (R) Certification
- Current ARRT (CT) Certification
· Current BLS (AHA) Certification
Any Specific Mandate skill required
· Epic EMR experience
- GE CT scanner experience
- PACS
- Adult Acute Care and ICU experience
- Vascular CT (CTA, Pulmonary Embolism, Aorta)
- Carotid CT
