We’re seeking an experienced Accounting & Advisory Specialist to join a collaborative, team-oriented environment. This role combines accounting expertise, financial analysis, client service, and business advisory responsibilities.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare individual and business income tax returns, including multi-state filings
- Conduct quarterly business and individual tax planning
- Review financial statements and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Provide income tax services for businesses, individuals, trusts, estates, and gift tax returns
- Communicate with federal, state, and local taxing authorities as needed
- Research and resolve financial and compliance-related issues
- Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure timely and accurate compliance
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and professionalism in a paperless environment
Must-Have Qualifications
- Current CPA or EA (Enrolled Agent) license, or active candidacy toward licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
- Minimum of 5 years of tax preparation experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PDF software, QuickBooks, and accounting applications
- Experience with tax preparation software preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and issue-resolution skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working in a paperless environment
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
