Position Summary
The Program Manager serves as the operational leader for a portfolio of assigned school sites and is responsible for the supervision, coaching, and professional development of RP Practitioners. Program Managers ensure implementation quality, support site administrators, facilitate complex restorative processes, and provide ongoing oversight of restorative practices implementation across assigned schools.
The Program Manager serves as the primary link between school sites and Akoben leadership, helping ensure consistency, accountability, and responsiveness throughout the engagement.
Essential Responsibilities
Staff Supervision and Professional Development
- Supervise and support assigned RP Practitioners.
- Conduct weekly supervision and coaching meetings.
- Review documentation, intervention records, and service delivery activities.
- Conduct monthly site visits and implementation observations.
- Support staff professional growth and performance improvement.
Restorative Practices Leadership
- Facilitate complex restorative conferences, harm repair processes, and re-entry circles.
- Provide case consultation and coaching to Practitioners.
- Support implementation of Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 restorative practices.
- Ensure fidelity to restorative practices standards and protocols.
School and District Collaboration
- Maintain active communication with principals, counselors, and school leadership teams.
- Participate in Student Success Team meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, attendance reviews, and school climate meetings as needed.
- Support integration of restorative practices into existing school systems and procedures.
- Provide consultation and recommendations related to school climate, attendance, engagement, and behavior.
Family and Community Engagement
- Support family participation in restorative processes.
- Coordinate outreach efforts for students receiving intensive support.
- Build relationships with community-based organizations and support services.
- Assist schools in developing culturally responsive engagement strategies.
Data Collection and Accountability
- Monitor implementation fidelity and service quality.
- Review site-level data and outcome indicators.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting requirements.
- Support continuous improvement planning and problem-solving efforts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum three years of experience in restorative practices implementation in educational, youth development, or community-based settings.
- Minimum two years of demonstrated supervisory, coaching, or leadership experience.
- Experience facilitating restorative circles, conferences, or conflict resolution processes.
- Ability to travel regularly between multiple school sites in Santa Ana.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, education, psychology, or related field preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.
- Experience working with Latino youth and families.
- Experience with family engagement and community outreach.
- Experience working in alternative education, behavioral support, or student intervention programs.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
