American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience in both CT and X-Ray who is proficient with outpatient, ED, and pediatric imaging.

Work in the CT Tech unit performing both CT and X-Ray imaging
-
Patient population includes adult and pediatric outpatients as well as Emergency Department patients
-
3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday through Sunday
-
May occasionally be asked to float to other Cone Health campuses
-
X-Ray procedures include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and upper/lower extremities
-
CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
-
ED and outpatient exams include cardiac CT (pulmonary vein CT, cardiac calcium scores) and perfusion studies
-
Uses PACS system and Siemens equipment, with Samsung X-Ray equipment preferred experience

Required to start approximately 8-9 IVs per day

Epic EMR experience required
-
Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist required

BLS certification required
-
ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required
-
License required if applicable

Outpatient (adult and pediatric) and Emergency Department experience required

Experience with PACS, Portables, and Siemens equipment required
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Experience preparing and/or administering contrast media
-
Experience starting peripheral IVs and performing venipuncture
-
Experience with image display, post processing, and region of interest (ROI) measurement
-
Experience with infants and pediatric patients preferred
-
Responsibilities include performing CT and X-Ray imaging across outpatient, pediatric, and ED settings
-
Perform specialized CT procedures including brain perfusion, vascular CTA, and colonography/virtual colonography
-
Perform X-Ray imaging for musculoskeletal trauma, spine, chest, and extremities
-
Must pass a compliance EKG exam with a maximum of two attempts allowed
