Industrial Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift
Location: Delavan, WI
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: 1st Shift
Overtime: Daily overtime paid for all hours worked over 8 hours per day.
Industrial Maintenance Technician
A well-established manufacturer in Delavan is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join its 1st shift team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
- Diagnose equipment issues and implement effective corrective actions
- Maintain machinery such as presses and material handling equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Install, modify, and upgrade machinery and equipment as needed
- Perform welding, fabrication, and basic machining tasks when required
- Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
- Follow all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean work environment
Qualifications
- Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise, and moving machinery
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
