About the Opportunity
Jellystone Park™ Cochran is seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Manager to lead park operations, develop a strong team, and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the park at a pivotal stage of growth. With a major expansion planned and significant development ahead, the General Manager will play a key role in helping shape the future of the property and establish it as a premier family campground and outdoor hospitality destination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the park, including guest services, campground operations, maintenance, housekeeping, activities, and overall property performance.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
- Create a positive, accountable, and guest-focused workplace culture.
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience from reservation through departure.
- Oversee guest relations and resolve issues professionally and effectively.
- Monitor occupancy, revenue, guest satisfaction, labor, and operating expenses.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, occupancy, and overall park performance.
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with ownership and leadership to execute expansion plans and operational improvements.
- Help plan and execute new amenities, activities, and guest experiences associated with the park's growth.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
- Manage staffing levels and scheduling based on seasonal business demands.
- Build relationships with vendors, community partners, and local organizations.
- Represent Jellystone Park™ professionally and promote a fun, family-friendly environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in RV resorts, campgrounds, hospitality, attractions, hotels, or a related industry preferred.
- Previous General Manager, Operations Manager, Resort Manager, or senior leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Jellystone Park™ experience is a major plus.
- Strong leadership and team-development skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong financial and operational understanding.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Guest-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality.
- Comfortable working in a seasonal business with fluctuating staffing and operational demands.
- Ability to lead by example and hold team members accountable.
