Commercial Carpenter – Independent Contractor

S. Walker Construction, LLC is seeking a dependable Commercial Carpenter to join our team as a full-time independent contractor for an active commercial construction project in Pennsylvania.
PROJECT DETAILS
- Schedule: Approximately 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
- Project Duration: Approximately 2 months of guaranteed work, contingent on satisfactory performance
- Pay: Based on experience and qualifications
- Lodging: Company-paid lodging provided for out-of-state travel
- Per Diem: Provided when travel is required
- Employment Type: Full-Time Independent Contractor / 1099
- Potential for additional project opportunities following completion of this project
CARPENTER RESPONSIBILITIES
The carpenter will assist with a variety of commercial construction tasks, including:
- Setting and installing countertops
- Light drywall work
- Light framing
- Ceiling tile installation
- Restroom partition installation
- General carpentry and construction support
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
QUALIFICATIONS
- Commercial construction experience preferred
- Experience with drywall, framing, countertops, ceiling tile, or restroom partitions is a plus
- Ability to safely use common hand and power tools
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work overnight hours
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and professional jobsite
