Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

MedOp Solutions is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at a busy Ambulatory Surgery department in Olympia Fields, Illinois. This position is ideal for an OR nurse who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and is comfortable providing exceptional perioperative patient care while collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team.
The ideal candidate will have recent Operating Room experience, strong knowledge of surgical procedures, and proficiency with EPIC charting.

- Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout the perioperative process
- Prepare operating rooms and patients for surgical procedures
- Circulate surgical cases while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and recovery staff
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures and respond appropriately to changes
- Ensure accurate documentation using EPIC
- Participate in the department's on-call rotation
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required
- Experience in a busy OR department required
- EPIC experience required
- Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
- EMR: EPIC
- Standard Operating Room equipment
- Advanced perioperative technology
- Department-specific orientation provided prior to independent assignment
- 13-week travel assignment
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call participation required
- Weekend and holiday expectations determined by departmental scheduling needs
