Caramel Patisserie is a family-owned French bakery located in the heart of Salem, Massachusetts. We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking individual to join our kitchen team.
Position
Kitchen Assistant / Bakery Assistant
Compensation:
- Starting at $24/hour
- Higher pay available for candidates with relevant bakery, pastry, or kitchen experience
- Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications
Schedule
- Tuesday through Friday
- 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Part-Time Position
Opportunity to transition to Full-Time during our busy season (September, October, November, and December).
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily pastry and bakery production
- Prepare ingredients and organize workstations
- Support the pastry team with various kitchen tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn
- Previous bakery, pastry, kitchen, or food service experience is a plus, but not required
