Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder & Fabricator to support the design, fabrication, assembly, and installation of automated equipment and custom machinery. This position will work closely with engineers, automation technicians, and other fabricators to build high-quality machine frames, guards, fixtures, brackets, and other fabricated components used in industrial automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication specifications.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.
- Fabricate machine frames, bases, platforms, guarding, brackets, fixtures, and custom assemblies.
- Cut, drill, bend, fit, and finish metal components using shop equipment and hand tools.
- Measure and inspect parts to ensure proper dimensions, alignment, and fit-up.
- Assemble fabricated components for automated machinery and production systems.
- Work with engineers to modify and improve designs for manufacturability and ease of assembly.
Experience
- 2+ years of welding and fabrication experience; automation or machine-building experience preferred.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and welding symbols.
- Proficiency with MIG welding; TIG experience is a plus.
- Experience working with structural steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Strong understanding of measurements, tolerances, fit-up, and weld quality.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
