Agha Medical LTD., Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is seeking applicants for a full-time Nurse Practitioner in our Morris office. We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate FNP/NP to join our healthcare team. Your expertise will support patients of all ages, from teen to geriatrics, ensuring they receive personalized, evidence-based care. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews for individuals.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses utilizing advanced clinical judgment and evidence-based protocols.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic and Practice Fusion for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records management.
- Provide health education and coaching on disease prevention, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and wellness strategies.
- Participate in telehealth consultations to expand access to care in remote or underserved areas.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the highest standards of infection control and sterile technique.

Experience
- License/Registration/Certification Required:
Active RN, and APRN/APRN-FPA/APNP or other APRN license(s) in state(s) of practice, AND
Active national board certification in area of clinical practice and populations served, AND
Active DEA registration prior to hire, AND
If Illinois practice: active Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire, AND
Active BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice prior to or within 6 months of hire
Education Required: Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Practice Fusion is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes along with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate documentation.
- Critical care experience in ICU or Level I/II trauma centers is a plus; hospital or emergency room experience is highly valued.
- Skills in medication administration including injections; experience with ventilator management is beneficial as well as CPAP/BIPAP management.
