About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience servicing, diagnosing, and repairing commercial and residential HVAC systems, and can work independently in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC systems including air handlers, condensers, compressors, chillers, cooling towers, VRF/VAV systems, and rooftop units
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues and determine appropriate repairs
- Perform refrigerant charging, leak detection, and leak repairs in accordance with EPA regulations
- Replace and repair components such as compressors, motors, belts, coils, control boards, sensors, and VFDs
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals
- Complete detailed, accurate service reports and maintain communication with dispatch/management
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with local codes and manufacturer specifications
- Train and oversee HVAC Helpers on job sites as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on HVAC service/installation experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a plus
- Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and controls
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently across multiple job sites
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions
Plus Qualifications:
- Experience with VRF/VRV systems (Samsung, Mitsubishi, Daikin) is a plus
- Package, RTU, Central Split units.
Pay: $27.74 - $35.00 per hour
