About the Position
T Wallace Consulting LLC is seeking a talented Multimedia Marketing Specialist to support a prospective long-term federal government program in New Mexico.
The Multimedia Marketing Specialist will serve as an on-site content creator and local marketing professional responsible for developing engaging digital and print content, supporting community and recruiting events, producing photography and video content, creating graphics, and supporting digital marketing and lead-management activities.
This is a contingent position, meaning employment is dependent upon T Wallace Consulting LLC receiving the associated federal contract award.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Create localized flyers, brochures, posters, displays, event graphics, and other marketing collateral using established brand guidelines.
- Capture professional photography and video content at events and activities.
- Edit photographs and video using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Create digital and social-media content for use across approved marketing channels.
- Assist with local social-media/community engagement and respond to appropriate inbound communications.
- Support website content updates and event information.
- Assist with routing prospective leads and inquiries to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain project schedules, spreadsheets, appointments, correspondence, and content-production timelines.
- Coordinate with marketing and program personnel to ensure content meets branding and quality standards.
- Attend local events and occasional activities throughout New Mexico.
- Maintain accurate records of projects, travel, assignments, and completed deliverables.
These duties track the Government's actual requirements, including graphic design, photography/videography, website support, community management, lead management and administration.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must possess:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field OR at least four years of relevant professional experience.
- At least two years of professional experience involving graphic design, marketing, photography, videography, or video editing.
- Strong proficiency with:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Premiere
- Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and audience engagement.
- Ability to work independently while meeting established deadlines and brand standards.
- Ability to successfully complete a DoD background check.
- Ability to travel periodically throughout New Mexico.
Those education, experience and software requirements come directly from the PWS.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference may be given to candidates with:
- Previous military, National Guard, federal government, or DoD-related experience.
- Experience creating content for military recruiting, public affairs, community engagement, education, or similar campaigns.
- Strong professional photography and videography experience.
- Experience managing or creating content for social-media platforms.
- Experience working within established corporate or government brand standards.
- Experience with CRM or lead-management systems.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, photography, videography and/or digital-media work.
Travel
Periodic travel throughout New Mexico will be required. The position may involve attendance at training, recruiting, community, and other special events.
Travel may include up to approximately 12 overnight trips annually and local/regional driving within New Mexico.
