Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of esthetic treatments including facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments with precision and care
- Conduct thorough client consultations to recommend suitable skincare routines and products based on individual needs
- Maintain strict sanitation and infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Manage medical records accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, documenting treatments, client preferences, and progress notes
- Educate clients on skincare best practices, product usage, and post-treatment care to maximize results
- Support sales efforts by recommending retail products that complement treatments and meet client needs
- Stay informed about the latest esthetic techniques, trends in color theory, makeup application, and new laser technologies to continually enhance service quality
Skills
- Proven experience as a Licensed Esthetician with valid state licensure
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and infection control practices in a spa or clinical setting
- Familiarity with cosmetology principles including color theory and makeup application
- Experience operating esthetic laser equipment and performing body waxing, eyebrow threading, dermabrasion, and eyelash extension procedures
- Excellent communication skills to educate clients effectively about treatments and skincare routines
