Lewis River Golf is looking for a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This position plays a key role in delivering quality food and exceptional service to our golfers, restaurant guests, and event attendees.
Whether serving a busy lunch rush, supporting tournament operations, or assisting with special events, our ideal candidate takes pride in preparing great food, maintaining a clean workspace, and working collaboratively with the team.
Position Summary
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing menu items according to recipes and standards, maintaining food quality and consistency, and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and capable of multitasking during busy service periods.
Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.

Set up and stock workstations before service.

Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.

Assist with prep work, inventory organization, and kitchen cleaning.

Communicate effectively with kitchen and front of house staff.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.

Support banquet, tournament, and special event operations as needed.

Assist with opening and closing duties.
Qualifications

Previous restaurant or kitchen experience required.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Food Handler Permit required (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Weekend, evening, and holiday availability preferred.
