Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food and beverage orders in a quick, friendly manner
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, credit card payments, and reconcile cash drawers at the end of shifts
- Assist with food preparation, serving, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in food service areas
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are maintained
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service or fast food restaurants, or retail math is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a strong plus
- Demonstrated ability in cashiering, cash handling, and customer service roles
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or kitchen work is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Culinary or café experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory
