St. Michael the Archangel School is a Catholic K–8 school in Findlay, Ohio, guided by our mission to shape saints and scholars. We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and highly qualified full-time Intervention Specialist to support the academic and behavioral needs of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate universal screening, progress monitoring, and school-wide data analysis through an MTSS framework

Deliver evidence-based reading and mathematics interventions through individual and small-group instruction

Develop and monitor individualized student support plans including SAPs and SMAPs

Partner with teachers, families, Findlay City Schools, and Diocese of Toledo representatives to ensure coordinated student support

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and diocesan requirements
Qualifications:

Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license

Knowledge of MTSS, differentiated instruction, and evidence-based intervention practices

Experience with structured literacy approaches such as Orton-Gillingham and Heggerty a plus

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

A sincere commitment to the mission of Catholic education; an active, practicing Catholic in good standing is strongly preferred
