We are currently seeking a Shop Associate at our New Jersey Service Center (East Rutherford, NJ).
Responsibilities
Builds, cleans and preps barricade panels and ensures loads are accurate, complete and in quality condition
Allocation of shop materials and panels
Inventory control, material handling, receiving
Responsible for the care and cleanliness of the shop
Read and interpret plans and blueprints
Continually operates under the best practices for safe, appropriate and organized use of the shop operations and space
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Experience in construction helpful
Must have basic computer skills
Experience operating a forklift
Experience working with various power tools including radial arm saws, circular saws, and impact drills.
Physical ability to climb ladders and work at elevations of up to 16 feet
Physical ability to lift and carry 80 pounds or greater of equipment
Mandatory DOT Medical Certification: This position requires you to operate a vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of up to 26,000 lbs. and is subject to U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. As such, you will be required to successfully complete and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical). Employment in this role is contingent upon meeting these physical and medical standards; failure to obtain and maintain a valid DOT certification will result in immediate separation from employment with Boston Retail Solutions.
