Plumbing Supervisor: Residential Service Division (Nevada)
We are launching a new residential plumbing division in Nevada and are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing Supervisor to lead the charge. This is a hands-on "player coach" position where you will be installing fixtures daily while simultaneously overseeing, training, and supporting a team of plumbers. For the right driven individual, this ground floor opportunity offers a clear, long term growth path into higher level leadership as the division expands over the years.
The Role: A hybrid position combining hands on residential plumbing installations and team management. You will be in the field daily handling installations, (primarily water heaters, toilets, garbage disposals, angle stops, flanges, faucets, and sinks), while directing a team of technicians doing the same.
The Pay: $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
The Requirement: Extensive, multi year hands on experience in residential service plumbing is mandatory. The ideal candidate will also bring prior supervisory, foreman, or field leadership experience to the table. No entry level applicants, please.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform high quality residential plumbing installations (water heaters, toilets, disposals, faucets, sinks, angle stops, etc.).
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of residential plumbing technicians in the field, ensuring quality control and efficiency.
- Perform all work in a safe manner and ensure your team adheres to safety protocols.
- Be responsible for overall customer satisfaction with regards to communication, workmanship, and quality.
- Ensure required paperwork is completed and turned in to the appropriate person or location.
- Utilize the proper tools and techniques to ensure efficient, timely, and quality installation of all products.
- Help build, shape, and scale the division, paving the way for your own long term career advancement into upper management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Valid Driver's license and the ability to adhere to safe driving practices
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Ability to lift heavy objects (with appropriate lifting tools) up to 150 pounds
- Possesses strong mechanical aptitude and the skill to operate standard plumbing hand/power tools and equipment
- Ability to operate a mobile device / tablet
- Available to work full time
- Must have the ability and availability to participate in a required on call rotation
- Extensive, proven experience in residential service plumbing
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is highly preferred
