CMG Contracting is a Chesterland, OH based company specializing in mainly concrete flatwork, structural concrete, and general excavation on residential and commercial projects within general area of Lake, Geauga and surounding counties.
We are looking for a Concrete & Excavation Operations Manager/ Foreman: This position will be necessary for someone to have the overall concrete and excavating skills to be able to cover a broad spectrum of work. Pay and compensation will be based by experience level. This will include full management and correspondence of a project from start to completion. Additional scope of work will consist of laboring and operating where needed.
Skills Necessary:
- Management of a typical 4-5 man daily crew

Keep work budget in check and monitor expenditures while keeping job on schedule

Prepare, plan, and equip your crew with the necessary tools & equipment for the next work day

Equipment operating is preferable which may include: skid steers, excavators etc...

Concrete prep work experience which may include: setting grade, lay out, setting string lines, using rotary lasers, setting forms, installing aggregate base etc...

Concrete finishing experience which may include: raking, screeding, edging/ hand tooling, bull floating, stamping concrete, saw cutting, sealing etc...

Correlate with Project Manager a 2-3 week look ahead of the upcoming project schedule
Overall scope of work may consists of:
- Concrete flatwork (removal & replacement, new installation)

Salary & Benefits:
- W2 Employee (weekly payroll)

Overtime after 40 hours per week (1.5 salary)
