Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and communicate needs to management promptly.
- Assist in setting up for special events like banquets or private parties, ensuring all beverage needs are met seamlessly.
- Demonstrate knowledge of food handling, brewing techniques, and fine dining etiquette to elevate guest interactions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub, fine dining restaurant, or banquet setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
- Experience in catering or food service environments is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality operations.
- A background in retail math or hospitality-related roles will be beneficial for managing sales targets effectively.
