Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and energetic Host / Front of House team member to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. In this role, you will be the first point of contact, ensuring guests feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant offerings.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including waiting areas and host station.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of guests throughout their dining experience.
- Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
- Support the team during busy hours by assisting with guest seating, reservations, and other front-of-house duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within food service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience in hotel or guest services can be advantageous but is not required.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving practices, and hospitality standards is desirable.
- A team-oriented attitude with a genuine passion for creating welcoming guest experiences.

Pay: $7.50 - $10.00 per hour
