Uma Flowers is a women owned and led adult-use cannabis retail dispensary opening in
Morristown, NJ. Our mission is to provide safe, clean and pure cannabis products that improve the health and wellness of the communities we serve. We aim to give our customers an exceptional shopping experience with a focus on offering advice and education on our variety of products.
We are looking to fill the unique role of a Budtender at our dispensary. The Budtender provides a vital connection between the Patrons and product. They are the first point of contact for our guests once they enter the showroom. This role will guide our patrons through various product options and help them select the best product for their wants and needs.
Full and part time hours are available!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Provide a friendly welcome to all patrons that enter the showroom
-Listen to the patron’s needs/interests/concerns and make product recommendations accordingly
-Clearly communicate the effects of different types of cannabis and cannabis product to patrons
-Build patron relations to gather a loyal consumer base
-Ensure customer is satisfied with the results / decisions you’ve helped them come up with
before sending them to the counter for their order
-Provide quality customer service
-Assist with inventory organization and standards
-Assist with opening and or closing duties
-Assist with displays and maintaining showroom appearance
-Maintaining shop cleanliness and aesthetic per Company standard
-Ensure Cannabis Regulatory Commission guidelines and regulations are complied with at all times
-Reports to General Manager
REQUIREMENTS
-Must be at least 21 years of age
-Must have prior cannabis retail or similar cannabis industry experience
-Be knowledgeable and passionate about Cannabis
-Ability to multitask and adapt to procedure changes
-Ability to stand for long periods of time
-Strong Communication skills
-Proficient computer skills
-ability to pass background check
-High school diploma or equivalent

Weekly day range:
● Monday to Friday
● Weekends as needed
Experience:
● Customer service: 2 years (Required)
