Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic EXPERIENCED Medical Assistant (CCMA or CMA) to join our dynamic healthcare team at our central office located in Birmingham. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate patient care in a fast paced OB/GYN clinic environment. Your expertise will help ensure high-quality treatment, efficient patient assessments, and seamless clinical operations. Duties Include:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and gather medical history in a triage setting.
- Prepare the EMR and patient charts for the office visit for the MD and/or nurse practitioner.
- Taking vital signs.
- Administer injections.
- Tracking results & patient follow up.
- Assist with procedures when needed.
- Travel to HWWC satellite offices as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Physician office experience is preferred and OB/GYN experience is a plus!
- CCMA certification with relevant experience is preferred and may be required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills for triage assessments, health coaching & patient education.
- Must adhere to all safety standards.
- Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment while maintaining and ensuring attention to detail.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
