American Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with SNF experience for a day shift contract position in Burbank, California.

Skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
-
Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)
-
Occasional weekend coverage may be required
-
Floating may be required
-
13–26 week contract
-
Any charting system experience accepted
-
Active COTA license in California (license required if applicable)
-
BLS certification required
-
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; new graduates will be considered

Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting preferred
-
Competency in ADLs, adaptive equipment, lifting and transfer techniques, and home exercise programs
-
Provide occupational therapy assistant services to patients in a SNF rehabilitation setting
-
Responsibilities may include ADL training, adaptive equipment use, pre-discharge planning, home assessments, and therapeutic modalities such as TENS and ultrasound
-
Orthopedic experience (e.g., hip/knee replacements, hand injuries, soft tissue injuries) is a plus
-
Splinting and prosthetics/orthotics experience may be applicable to this role

2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
