Topp Consulting is an ABA agency that has been in business since 2013. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field. As a Behavior Technician, you will support students with behavioral challenges, learning challenges, and social delays, implementing individualized programs and strategies to enhance their learning experience, socialization and ability to communicate, within the school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the BCBA and teachers
- Provide one-on-one support to students with behavioral, academic and social needs in the school setting.
- Support social periods with fun games, bringing other children in to play
- Collect data on student behaviors and progress.
- Follow the behavior plan outlined by the BCBA.
- Communicate effectively with the BCBA, teachers, and other staff members regarding student progress and intervention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational or therapeutic setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping children succeed.
