Mountain Resort Services is a family owned and operated luxury transportation company based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We provide high-end transportation for weddings, corporate groups, events, and private clients throughout the Jackson Hole area and surrounding region.
Our fleet ranges from luxury SUVs and vans to mini coaches and motor coaches, and we pride ourselves on providing some of the most experienced and professional local drivers in the area.
We are a laid-back but hardworking company that values strong relationships, exceptional service, and people who take pride in what they do. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of our day-to-day transportation operations and help us continue to grow.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Transportation Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our transportation business. This is a hands-on position that combines fleet management, driver oversight, event coordination, client communication, and general operations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable making decisions independently. This person will be responsible for keeping our vehicles, drivers, events, and clients organized while serving as a key point of contact for both our internal team and outside partners.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being involved in the action and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed to make sure the job gets done right.
Key ResponsibilitiesFleet & Vehicle Operations
- Manage and oversee the company's fleet of SUVs, vans, and buses, ensuring vehicles are clean, safe, maintained, and ready for service.
- Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, detailing, fueling, and other vehicle needs.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintain accurate vehicle and maintenance records.
Driver Management
- Oversee the current driver team and assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new drivers.
- Create driver schedules and assign drivers to events and transportation jobs.
- Ensure drivers have the information, equipment, and vehicles they need to successfully complete each job.
- Monitor driver performance, professionalism, punctuality, and adherence to company standards.
Event & Operations Management
- Serve as the "boots on the ground" company representative during larger weddings, corporate events, and other major transportation jobs.
- Coordinate drivers, vehicles, timelines, staging, and client needs during events.
- Monitor active events and make adjustments when schedules or circumstances change.
- Troubleshoot unexpected issues and make quick decisions to keep operations running smoothly.
Client & Partner Relationships
- Communicate with clients during transportation services to ensure expectations are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wedding planners, hotels, event coordinators, and other local partners.
- Address client concerns or service issues calmly and professionally.
- Represent Mountain Resort Services with a high level of professionalism and hospitality.
Office & Administrative
- Assist with day-to-day office operations, scheduling, paperwork, and administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in reservation and dispatch software.
- Keep driver, vehicle, and trip information organized and current.
- Help develop and improve operational procedures as the company continues to grow.

- Comfortable giving direction and managing a team of drivers.
- Knowledgeable about basic vehicle maintenance and comfortable working around a variety of vehicles.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and computer-based scheduling and operations systems.
- Knowledgeable about Jackson Hole and the surrounding area.
- Possess a clean driving record; CDL is a plus but not required.
- Willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
