Responsibilities and Duties
- Custom Design & Execution: Consult intentionally with clients to translate their concepts into high-quality, unique custom body art.
- Clinical Safety Standards: Maintain an impeccably clean station. Adhere strictly to sterile setup, breakdown, and cross-contamination prevention protocols before, during, and after every session.
- Client Experience: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients feel comfortable, respected, and safe throughout the entire process. Offer clear, comprehensive aftercare instructions.
- Team Collaboration: Maintain a reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic. Contribute positively to the overall shop environment and respect fellow artists and staff.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience tattooing in a licensed studio setting (No at-home apprenticeships considered).
- Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating technical proficiency, clean line work, smooth shading, solid color packing, and strong composition across your preferred styles.
- Professionalism: Strong communication skills, accountability, and a team-first attitude. A drug- and alcohol-free workplace policy must be maintained during working hours.
- Business Mindset: Basic understanding of managing your own schedule, client communication, and promoting your work via social media.
