Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented General Assemblers to join our production team. This role is responsible for supporting the production process, maintaining product quality standards, ensuring a clean and sanitary work environment, and following all safety procedures.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance
- Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Verify product weight, ingredients, packaging, and coding accuracy.
- Check packaging materials for proper design and labeling.
- Report quality concerns and deviations to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with additional production-related duties as assigned.
Production Support
- Remove defective or misaligned products from the production line.
- Return salvageable overflow products back into the production flow.
- Ensure products are properly fed into the next stage of production.
- Support efficient product movement throughout the manufacturing process.
Sanitation & Housekeeping
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
- Use designated tools and containers for handling materials.
- Regularly clean workstations, floors, and surrounding areas.
- Dispose of waste and defective products according to company procedures.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Safety
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and fellow employees.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Participate in safety initiatives and corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
- Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
