Duties
- Prepare cabinet surfaces through sanding, cleaning, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply finishes using airless paint spraying, hand tools, or powder coating techniques with precision and consistency
- Conduct visual color comparisons to match specified color standards accurately
- Operate machinery such as cranes, forklifts, and machining tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse or fabrication areas, including loading, unloading, and storage of supplies
- Perform surface repairs and auto body finishing tasks as needed to ensure seamless final results
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following lean manufacturing principles for efficiency and safety
Experience
- Prior experience in industrial painting, auto body repair, or construction surface preparation is highly desirable
- Familiarity with powder coating processes and airless paint spraying techniques
- Knowledge of welding, machining, fabrication, and assembly processes beneficial for understanding overall production workflows
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments and hand tools accurately for detailed work
- Experience operating forklifts, cranes, power tools, respirators, respirator maintenance, and other industrial equipment required for safe handling of materials
- Strong understanding of quality standards in manufacturing environments with attention to detail in visual color matching and surface finishing
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during preparation and application processes
