Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Position Overview:
Seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurse to join a busy outpatient surgery center. The ideal candidate will have recent OR experience and be comfortable caring for both pediatric and adult surgical patients in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.
Assignment Details:
- Full-Time Position
- Day Shift
- Monday–Friday Schedule
- 8-Hour Shifts
- 80 Hours Biweekly
- No On-Call Requirements
- No Weekends
- No Holiday Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Active New York State Registered Nurse License
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- Experience caring for pediatric patients (6 months and older) and adults
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized perioperative nursing care
- Prepare operating rooms and verify availability of sterile equipment and supplies
- Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
- Ensure safe patient positioning and adherence to surgical safety standards
- Facilitate smooth transitions from surgery to recovery
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary surgical teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
