American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Radiation Oncology position requiring a WI or compact RN license and Mon-Fri outpatient scheduling with no weekends, call, or holidays

Ambulatory/outpatient Radiation Oncology clinic setting
-
Treats patients with prostate, head & neck, breast, lung, brain, skin cancers, lymphoma, mesothelioma, and metastatic disease
-
Uses Cerner and Aria EMR systems
-
Day shift schedule Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
-
8-hour shifts totaling 36 guaranteed hours per week
-
No weekend, holiday, call, or standby requirements
-
No floating required
-
RNs set rates for titratable drips including IV hydration
-
Works alongside an MA in the clinic setting

Physician onsite Monday-Friday 8-5
-
Active WI or compact RN license required
-
BLS certification (AHA) required
-
Radiation Oncology Nurse Certification preferred but not required
-
Minimum 2 years of relevant RN experience required
-
Peripheral IV insertion skills required
-
Power port access and de-access skills required
-
Experience with contrast infusion during CT required
-
Knowledge of triaging contrast reactions required

Knowledge of assessing radiation side effects and patient education preferred

2 professional references required, including at least one from a supervisor

Provide direct patient care in a radiation oncology clinic including IV access, port management, and contrast administration

Support patient education related to radiation therapy side effects
-
Facility is transitioning from Cerner to Epic EMR
-
Any color scrubs with solid color pants required for dress code
-
Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local
